River Twice

Restaurant · East Passyunk Crossing

@cntraveler

"In a calm and minimalist space designed by his wife and restaurant co-owner Amanda, Chef Randy Rucker and his team serve a seven-course tasting menu Thursdays through Saturdays and open the restaurant up (for now) on Sundays as a wine bar. At $95 per person for the seven-course tasting menu, River Twice is on the pricier end of Philly’s dining spectrum, meaning most locals will save a meal here for a special occasion. The seven-course tasting menu changes a little bit everyday and almost entirely every week, so don’t expect to have that artfully plated dish you spotted on Instagram, rather, be open to the team’s creativity. River Twice requires an adventurousness on the part of the diners — it’s best to sit, back, and let the current of the kitchen take you." - Devra Ferst
