"American-Mediterranean chain Hummus and Pita Co. has confirmed that its first franchise outpost in metro Detroit will land at the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets food court in Auburn Hills. The location is slated to open in October, according to a release. The New York-based chain had previously announced its intentions to open five restaurants in Southeast Michigan with locations in Detroit, Ann Arbor, Troy, Warren, and Canton.
