"An over-the-top, adult-oriented mobile ice cream experience centered on a gold cart and helmed by self-styled “Head Creamstress” Valerie Stunning, a former stripper and burlesque performer who often appears in crystals, leopard print, crowns or a captain’s hat while encouraging customers through a peep-show–inspired photo booth called Creamery Confessionals. The operation produces small-batch, rotating plant-based ice creams made from cashew, coconut, and soy cream bases with provocative flavor names like Spoil Me Daddy and Yes Mistress, playful offerings such as Mint Money Magic (fresh mint with dark chocolate shavings) and Cam-Girl Next Door (cinnamon maple with candied cayenne pecans), and show-stopping items like charcoal bourbon cherry and glitter-dipped cherries or cotton-candy–topped cones. Designed for an 18-and-over crowd, the pop-ups lean into strip-club and burlesque spectacle, run regular residencies (third Fridays at Artifice in the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District beginning January 2020), and appear at local festivals, while explicitly centering sex workers and LGBTQ people through hiring practices and collaborations with advocacy groups as it builds toward a future brick-and-mortar location." - Krista Diamond
