"After trying to keep the kitchen running through the heat, I learned Paulie Gee’s in Logan Square closed on Wednesday for staff safety; owner Derrick Tung said they fixed the back A/C and brought in a water-cooling unit but between the electric ovens, wood-fired ovens, an old building, and aging AC systems it remained too hot, so the restaurant stayed closed Thursday and planned to reopen Friday." - Naomi Waxman
