"Virgin Hotels still plans to open in early 2021, and now the resort that’s been busy renovating the former Hard Rock Hotel brings on an industry veteran as executive chef for the resort. David Werly brings his 20-plus years of experience to the resort. Werly oversees the Kitchen at Commons Club, Funny Library Coffee Shop, the Juice Bar, and the food and beverage outlets at the guest pool and dayclub, as well as in-room dining and banquet dining. Aside from creating seasonal and specialty menus, he plans to work as the culinary point of contact for all restaurant partner chefs and provide support to the food and beverage team." - Susan Stapleton
