"I learned that Fetch Park & Ice House opened in 2018 at the corner of Daniel Street and Dekalb Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward and became Atlanta’s first full-service dog park with a bar. Co-owned by Stephen Ochs and former Falcons guard Garrett Reynolds, the park includes a turf field, dog toys, cooling stations, an Airstream bar, several TVs, monthly events such as comedy nights and theme parties, and the Old Fourth Ward location offers a full coffee bar along with beer, wine, and liquor. Dog owners obtain memberships ($30 per month) or day passes ($10), and all dogs must be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and covered by a waiver confirming they are not aggressive. The owners are expanding — a second Atlanta-area location will open in Alpharetta next year by Ameris Bank Amphitheatre on Encore Parkway (precise address pending), and a Nashville location is expected to open by the end of the year; members will be able to access both Atlanta locations." - Beth McKibben
