"I saw that New York institution P.J. Clarke’s is opening a Manhattan oyster bar today, March 14; the new 1,890-square-foot extension of the preexisting P.J. Clarke’s on the Hudson sits in the Brookfield Place shopping complex and you enter through 250 Vesey Street. The menu highlights beer-and-bacon roast littlenecks, ginger-scallion oysters, and peel-and-eat shrimp, and the space features nautical-inspired design elements along with, as a spokesperson says, a “brigade of boisterous shuck-masters.” The oyster bar will operate Monday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Emma Orlow
