"The downtown hotel is hosting a big party at its lobby bar, with live music, cocktails, welcome tequila shots, a dessert table, balloon drops, build-your-own Old Fashioneds, a margarita fountain (!!??), Champagne, caviar, and post-midnight burgers. General admission tickets are $85, with VIP groups for $750 or $1,000. It runs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There are indoor and outdoor areas." - Nadia Chaudhury
