"Chef William Cribb and his partner Raj Patel opened the Kennedy after Cribb served as South Carolina Chef Ambassador, and it’s a top spot for dinner in the Upstate. The modern brasserie’s interiors lean Art Deco and comfortable seating makes a long dinner possible. The menu is fresh and seasonal and includes a beautiful oyster service. There’s also corn gnocchi, which is masterfully fluffy, and nicely sauced seasonal fish. A small but apt cocktail bar also provides dinner seating. At lunch and brunch, the “swangus” burger comes double smashed. Notably, the Kennedy is open every day but Monday and garners a fun Sunday night crowd." - Stephanie Burnette
