"Opened Wednesday, July 10 in the Linde Family Wing of the Museum of Fine Arts, the restaurant named for the museum’s address, 465 Bar and Restaurant, takes over for Bravo with executive chef Brian Flagg leading the charge in the kitchen. Dishes incorporate ingredients from local farms and producers and current items include fluke crudo with radishes and caviar, tomato tartine on sourdough with ricotta and toasted sesame, grilled chicken paillard, and dry-aged sirloin, with menu items starting at $6 for smaller options and $18 for larger entrees. The restaurant also offers a selection of cocktails and mocktails, plus wine and beer. The space — originally designed by I.M. Pei and renovated by architectural design firm Bergmeyer — shows off six still-life pieces from the MFA’s collection, reinforcing the museum setting. 465 Bar and Restaurant operates Wednesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; diners must pay the standard museum admission fee to access the restaurant, though admission is free on Wednesday evenings and during certain community events." - Dana Hatic
