"What began as a small breakfast revolution inside Richfield’s El Tejaban, Lito’s serves hefty, LA-style burritos inspired by Miguel Hernandez’s Orange County road trips: beef birria with queso blanco; chorizo and potatoes crisped in chile de árbol; and a Califorcana steak burrito with guacamole and French fries, all optionally wrapped in a crunchy cheese crust in homage to LA pop-ups. The menu also includes other Chicano favorites— asada fries, birria tortas—paired with Diana Hernandez’s nutty mazapán frappuccinos, horchata cold brews, and Oaxacan chocolate–laced mochas; Hernandez continues to expand the concept by smoking whole briskets for weekend brunches and pouring mimosas." - Justine Jones
