Karina’s Is Bringing Mexican Seafood to La Jolla | Eater San Diego

"Founded on India Street by chef and cookbook author Su-Mei Yu in 1985, this long-running Thai eatery expanded to La Jolla in 2018 but shuttered last October; it has been operated since 2016 by the Karina’s Group, which also runs several Karina’s locations and Savoie Italian Eatery, and the group says they still hope to open more Saffron locations in the future." - Candice Woo
