"I noted that this oceanfront restaurant could be affected by street closures when Long Beach hosts the first leg of the Amgen Tour of California on May 13 (Mother’s Day); city organizers agreed to alter the race route to accommodate local restaurants after the Downtown Long Beach Alliance relayed owners’ concerns, and many of the DLBA’s requests were accepted — drivers can use Pine Avenue and there will be entry into Shoreline Village — though it appears no adjustments were made to Fourth Street or Belmont Shore." - Mona Holmes
