Cafe Izmir Shutters Its Plano Outpost | Eater Dallas

"I learned that the popular Mediterranean eatery Cafe Izmir, which operates locations in Downtown and on Lower Greenville, just shuttered its Plano outpost over the weekend; the restaurant said it couldn't “overcome the challenges” of running its business in a larger space. The Plano location was much more expansive than the cozier outposts, and there weren't enough folks to fill all those seats, so the team said they made the “very difficult and sad decision” to close it and return to smaller, more intimate settings.
