"Beetroot, a modern Jewish deli, is set to open on August 21 in Northwest Portland. The deli, designed by Daniel Goers, features reclaimed Douglas Fir furnishings and a combination of East Coast Jewish deli and Pacific Northwestern aesthetics. It will serve a variety of Jewish deli staples including house-smoked whitefish salad, vegetarian schnitzel sandwiches, matzo ball soup, bialys with smoked fish, and more.
