"Today is opening day for Harvard Square gelato shop Amorino (50 JFK St., Cambridge), part of an international chain that has one other local outpost (Back Bay). The shop serves over 25 rotating gelato flavors, including seasonal specials, as well as blended gelato and sorbet drinks, gelato-stuffed macarons and crepes, gelato-topped waffles, coffee, tea, and 10 flavors of hot chocolate. The opening celebration continues at the new location this Friday, June 15, with a “happy hour” between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. — get a free cone or cup of gelato (one per person).
