"A downtown concert venue will close for a 16-week restoration beginning June 4, and roughly 180 part-time employees—including bartenders, stagehands, runners, and guest services staff—will be laid off as a result; they will be invited to reapply when the theater reopens in October while full-time staff are reportedly unaffected. Renovation plans call for the historic building’s ceiling to be repainted for the first time, and replacing the marquee is also being considered though no final decision has been made." - Tim Forster
