"Well-known Philly marijuana activist N.A. Poe’s eight-month-old sandwich shop in Fishtown specializing in “high class munchies” closed abruptly over the weekend. Poe, born Richard Tamaccio Jr., cited financial reasons for the sudden closure. Poe’s Sandwich Joint, at 1429 Marlborough Street right near Suraya, Cheu Fishtown, and Heffe Tacos, opened in December of last year and quickly became a hit, landing on best of lists including Eater’s roundup of epic Philly sandwiches.
