"Located at 1713 Chestnut Street in Rittenhouse, the new Cava brings the Washington, D.C.–based Mediterranean chain’s build-your-own, counter-service format to Pennsylvania as its first state location and one of two Philly-area spots (a second is slated for Suburban Square in Ardmore). I noted the restaurant will kick off with a day of free food on Wednesday, January 23 (free lunches 10:45 a.m.–1 p.m. and free dinners 5–7 p.m.) while taking donations for The Food Trust, and will begin regular hours (10:45 a.m.–10 p.m.) on Thursday, January 24.
