"Tucked down a service drive among parking lots and car dealerships, I watched the brand-new triad of Korean restaurants and cafe take over the longtime site of New Seoul Garden and reopen to eager regulars in late August. The Yi family — who purchased the business in 2016 after running Seoul Garden in the late ’90s and early 2000s — closed the property for a lengthy renovation in 2017 (what was meant to be three-to-six months turned into a full year after they discovered roof leaks) and reimagined the space by dividing the large restaurant into three distinct establishments tied together by a short hallway that zigzags through the center of the building; patrons naturally flowed in to scope out the updates and sample the sweet and savory delights inside." - Brenna Houck
