"Targeting May at 252 Schermerhorn Street, this incoming concept brings Roman cuisine to a day-to-night menu that might feature breakfast maritozzi as well as pastas like Amatriciana and cacio e pepe, plus shareable pinsas, per a spokesperson. The new spot is now in the hands of LDV Hospitality, which oversees other Italian restaurants in the city, such as Nomad’s Scarpetta; its placement in Brooklyn is no coincidence given ownership ties in Manhattan between GFI Capital and James New York Nomad, where Scarpetta is housed.
