"While so many modern brewers equate big flavors with big ABVs, Bizarre proves you can do a lot with a little from its colorful Magnolia taproom. Take Brief Candles, for example. This beer is a mere 3.8 percent ABV, and yet it’s positively packed with layers of flavor. It has the light, pleasant body that the table beer style (a rare sight among Seattle breweries, by the way) is known for, but it’s dry-hopped for delectably fresh notes of citrus rind and pine. Let that sit a moment on your tastebuds, and some underlying earthy funk rolls in to punctuate it all. For the record, Bizarre does have some higher ABVs on the menu, but none stray above 5.9 percent." - Brianna Gunter
