All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Spot Coming to Mira Mesa | Eater San Diego

"Scheduled to debut in December, I'm looking forward to the 4,000-square-foot restaurant opening across from Crab Hut in the Village of Mira Mesa complex. Owned by Tuan Nguyen (who runs the Pokeland location in the same mall) and Jenna Hu (co-founder of the ICMonster ice cream shops), Little Sakana will be open for lunch and dinner and aims to provide an elevated yet affordable take on the all-you-can-eat concept, featuring a mix of traditional nigiri and sushi rolls plus teriyaki bowls, fried rice, ramen, and udon. All sushi and the other menu items will also be available a la carte, with occasional specials. Inside there will be a 20-seat sushi bar and two private rooms that can accommodate parties of 20 guests, and the spot is being positioned as a neighborhood hangout with a bar pouring beer, sake, cocktails, and punch bowls and DJs spinning on Friday nights." - Candice Woo
