"Nestled inside Basic Taco at 2901 Commerce Street is a speakeasy-style bar called Yellow Rosa Cocktaileria. The bar, behind a hidden entrance, includes plant-draped walls, an open-air terrance and a rustic bubbling fountain known as la Fuente de los Deseos (The Source of Desires). Inside the speakeasy, drinkers can enjoy a variety of agave-based cocktails made with sotol, mezcal, and raicilla, alongside dishes inspired by Mexican cuisine. On Wednesday nights, the bar will host a private dining lottery featuring a 4-course tasting menu from Chef Randall Braud, including dishes like aguachile and wood-grilled ribeye. Brunch will also be served in the outdoor oasis beginning October 31. Yellow Rosa’s hours will be 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday and Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 2 .am.
