"I'm excited that the homegrown chain Nicecream is opening its debut D.C. location at the Shay apartment building (1924 Eighth Street NW) in Shaw. The Northern Virginia-based sweets shop, which started in Arlington and spread to Alexandria, also plans to branch out to Adams Morgan after signing leases for the two new locations in March. Their next futuristic storefront uses liquid nitrogen to flash freeze its assorted flavors of ice cream, and it's now projected to open by June (before the end of the second quarter of 2018)." - Warren Rojas
