"A new downtown gelato shop where customers can see the frozen treat being churned. Slated to open in November, the 750-square-foot shop will feature indoor and outdoor seating and offer 18 flavors of gelato including vegan and gluten-free options. Using local and seasonal fresh fruit as well as imported Italian ingredients, the gelato will be made using an innovative gelato machine that will be the first in California to employ. The family-run shop will also offer an espresso and coffee menu featuring Caffe Vergnano, as well as other snacks including affogatos and gelato panini." - Candice Woo
