"I'm looking forward to Game Terminal, a 10,000-square-foot “superarcade” and bar on track to open this fall in South Nashville. Located in a former '60s-era truck terminal at 201 Terminal Court and redesigned by local studio DAAD with bold racing-inspired stripes outside and modern chrome and bronze interiors featuring artwork and graffiti by local artists, the massive entertainment complex will offer more than 300 arcade and pinball machines spanning five decades—including Defender, Tales of Arabian Knights, Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga alongside recent pinball releases like Jurassic Park, Willy Wonka and Black Knight. Admission includes access to the arcade, outdoor dining and lounge space, a shuffleboard court and Jenga and cornhole zones; guests can enjoy craft cocktails, local beers and upscale bar food via waiter service in the indoor lounge or at picnic-style outdoor tables. The immersive venue also features an onsite pinball dealership window where machines are sold and worked on (Music City Pinball), a private gate to a lush garden with fountain, ping-pong table and fire pit, an onsite basketball court for VIPs, two main-floor VIP rooms for up to 50 guests each, a second-level conference room with kitchenette, A/V and private pinball games, event space for 250 seated or 400 standing, a four-acre outdoor area available for festivals and musical events, and the option to buy out the indoor gaming area for large gatherings." - Delia Jo Ramsey
