"Owned by chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips, one-Michelin-starred Lazy Betty offers fine dining at their new location in the heart of Midtown at 999 Peachtree (the former Empire State South space). Choose from two tasting menus: Lazy Betty Tasting Menu or the Chef’s Tasting Menu. The latter features additional courses and even more luxurious and harder-to-source ingredients like squab, langoustines, morel mushrooms, and Wagyu beef. Vegetarian and pescatarian tasting menus are also available. There’s also champagne and caviar service, which comes with steamed milk buns and scallion pancakes, and an a la carte food menu at the bar lounge. The foie gras donut with raspberry coulis, which made our Best Things Eater Atlanta Ate in June, for an umami, unexpected treat. Be sure to try the cocktails here. Reservations are required for the dining room, though walk-ins are welcome to enjoy the tasting menu at the bar. Best for: Tasting menu, date night, wine list, and cocktails." - Eater Staff
