"I noticed the sign is down at Acadia, the restaurant and bar on 824 S. Eighth Street in Bella Vista near the Italian Market that opened in January 2018. It was chef Sean Nevins’s first restaurant after a Wharton degree and a career in business development, and its tagline was “Bringing New Orleans to Philadelphia”; the menu focused on New Orleans-style Cajun and Creole fare such as gumbo, étouffée, jambalaya, blackened catfish, and po’boys, with cocktails like Sazeracs, Milk Punch, and the cherry-cola Cheerwine, and Nevins also brought in jazz bands for live music nights.
