"I'm looking forward to Telefèric opening in Long Beach in early September; this stunning Spanish restaurant from Barcelona, which expanded to Brentwood in 2023 and operates a handful of Bay Area locations, will serve a menu focused on tapas, seafood, and paella. Meals may start with patatas bravas or pan con tomate before progressing to gambas al ajillo and Galician grilled octopus with pimentón potato purée, and the paella offerings include a lobster paella and a paella negra made with squid ink, shrimp, and octopus. A slate of signature gin and tonics—featuring ingredients like botanical gin, rosemary, and orchid—is available to pair with the food, alongside classic cocktails, wine, and sangria. The interior, designed by co-founder Maria Padrosa and Trenchs Studios, takes inspiration from traditional Spanish design and features handmade Spanish ceramics, a mural from artist Toni Obra, and Spanish tile, and there is also an expansive outdoor patio." - Rebecca Roland
