"Old Bus Tavern, a friendly Mission/Bernal neighborhood brewpub, is closing after three years of operation. Known for its chili, burgers, and lemon basil saisons, the brewpub was opened by Jimmy Simpson, John Zirinsky, and Bennett Buchanan in 2015 with chef Max Snyder. Despite earning critical attention initially, they later adjusted the food menu to a more approachable style. In their final year, they focused on live music and a communal atmosphere. Financial obstacles in San Francisco have been a challenge, but the supportive local businesses and SF Brewers Guild have been beneficial." - Caleb Pershan
