"Located at 545 Post St in San Francisco between Mason and Taylor, Hotel Zeppelin hosts the Marlena pop-up “Summer Camp at Hotel Zeppelin” from June 22 to September 3, where the husband-and-wife team channels smoky campfires into two food menus and a tight cocktail list. In the hotel’s main dining room they offer a 7-course tasting menu ($125) with dishes like pea panna cotta with soft-boiled quail egg and chive tuile, plankton pappardelle with salt spring mussels and a beurre blanc sauce, and a dessert of gooey s’mores with graham crackers and chocolate. A more casual walk-in option in the hotel lounge serves an a la carte selection—from kampachi crudo with pluot and red shiso to roasted black cod in corn broth and more casual plates like a buffalo chicken sandwich and a burger with pickled jalapeño—plus desserts such as burnt honey cake and chocolate mousse. The pop-up also features a cocktail list (including an R2-D2 that blends mezcal with pineapple and coconut and a splash of cava); the bar opens at 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and dinner is served 5–9 p.m. Tuesday–Thursday and 5–10 p.m. Friday–Saturday. Reservations for the pop-up open at noon on Friday, June 17 and are available on Resy." - Lauren Saria
