"Proof Bakeshop and its cafe, owned by Billy and Kristin Allin (Bread and Butterfly), closed at the end of 2021 after six years on Hurt Street. Proof became a staple in the neighborhood for fresh breads, scones, croissants, cakes, and cookies.
