"Through several owners, Beth’s Cafe has been holding down this corner of Aurora since 1954, serving basic diner fare, eggs and hashbrowns and bacon. It’s no longer a 24-hour spot — though it stays open until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights — but its signature dish, the 12-egg omelet, is the same as it ever was, massive and usually filled with meat.
