"Confirmed to be headed to North Las Vegas, Texas Roadhouse—launched in 1993 and based out of Louisville, Kentucky despite its name—will occupy a 7,333-square-foot, family-friendly restaurant at the northeast corner of Craig Road and Bruce Street. It promises a scratch kitchen, generous portions, and its famous complimentary bucket of shelled peanuts delivered to each table plus house-made bread served with homemade cinnamon butter; the menu highlights steaks, “Country dinners,” and “Dockside Favorites” seafood dishes. The exterior will match the chain’s more than 450 previous steakhouse locations and will hoist both an American and Texas state flag; the restaurant will not offer live music or gaming, though staff occasionally break into impromptu line-dances to entertain diners. Planned hours are 4–10 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on weekends, and 10 p.m. on Sunday. It is currently working through approvals and an estimated arrival date has not been revealed." - Bradley Martin
