"Opening this spring in the mezzanine breezeway at Westside Provisions District on Howell Mill Road across from Little Barn Apothecary, Five Daughter's Bakery will be the chain's second Atlanta location. I note it operates as a walk-up doughnut counter with large display windows beside the shop, and that doughnuts and pastries are baked daily at a kitchen facility off Chamblee Tucker Road and delivered throughout the day. Owners Isaac and Stephanie Meek offer a variety of cake and brioche-style doughnuts filled with jam, custard, and cream, along with gluten-free, vegan, and paleo doughnuts, cookies, and other pastries; their decadent 100-layer, croissant-style doughnut—rolled in sugar and stuffed with cream—is singled out as a highlight.
