"Starbucks’s giant flagship opens on Friday morning in downtown Chicago as the world’s largest coffee company officially unveils its largest location to date. The location measures 35,000 square feet, features 5 levels including a not-yet-open roof deck on the fifth floor, and employs 188 partners. The bronze-colored metal cask standing in the center is 56 feet tall. It will roast an estimated 200,000 pounds of coffee beans annually. Unique features include exclusive cocktails, a four-story mural by Eulogio Ortega, and a curved escalator, the first in the Midwest. The price of an espresso is $4.50 and a La Marcozzo Linea mini espresso machine is sold for $6,500." - Ashok Selvam
