"Located in Toronto’s Intercontinental Hotel, Azure Restaurant & Bar failed three menu verification inspections by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency between 2013 and 2015 after a disgruntled employee tipped off the agency; investigators documented multiple misrepresentations, including passing skirt steak as Wagyu, labeling regular mozzarella as “buffalo mozzarella,” selling “organic” granola that was actually Quaker Harvest Crunch, and marketing a “homemade” dressing that was procured from a commercial producer (Renée’s Gourmet)." - Eater Staff
