Gorge on Vegetarian Pizza and Vegan Ice Cream Next Week - Eater Boston
"Dairy-free pizza and ice cream options are on the way to Brookline next week, as Veggie Crust finally prepares to open its second location at 8 Cypress St. on Monday, April 30. The vegetarian- and vegan-friendly pizzeria opened near Somerville’s Union Square in August 2016, taking over the space from A4 Pizza that was conveniently located next to its sister restaurant, Dosa N Curry, which serves vegetarian Indian and Indo-Chinese food. Veggie Crust’s Brookline location has been in the works since last April when signage first appeared in the Cypress Street storefront, as previously reported. Now, the owners are ready to unveil the new restaurant and will be offering dine-in, takeout, and delivery options. The menu features both vegetarian and vegan pizzas, along with gluten-free options. There are pre-set options, such as a paneer tikka masala pizza with marinated paneer, red onion, cilantro, garlic, and ginger, but diners can also customize a pizza, choosing from various sauces, crusts, and toppings. Other menu items include panini, pasta, salads, and dairy-free, gluten-free ice cream. Veggie Crust will operate in Brookline from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week." - Dana Hatic
