"Wheatsville Food Co-op is a cooperatively-owned grocery store that will be closing its original North Campus location by the end of 2026. The decision was influenced by the city's light rail plan, Project Connect, which would impede access for delivery trucks. The store has served the community since 1976 and offers a variety of food products including prepared foods from its deli. The South Lamar location will remain open." - Nadia Chaudhury
