"Lunch at this beautiful spot on the Wharf is a treat, and the fried catfish sandwich nails the balance of exceptionally crispy fish, tangy tartar sauce, and sour pickles. It came with crisp, addictive shoestring fries, and splitting the sandwich let us explore more of the menu, like a super-seasonal porcini mushroom and roasted chestnut soup that the staff graciously divided into separate bowls. I was especially blown away by the venison carpaccio — incredibly thin slices that tasted like earthy prosciutto, topped with sharp Parmesan and apples — a creative take I’ll come back for (it’s on the dinner menu, too). The venison comes from Millbrook Farms in Pennsylvania, where the deer are raised wild on a huge plot of land and the owners literally go hunt for them, an insane commitment to delicious, free-range venison." - Tierney Plumb
