The owners of Good Carma Auto Repair opened a coffee shop, then called Carma Coffee in an empty building across the street from their garage. In October 2024, ownership announced a change of hands, with the new operator recasting the cafe as Walden Coffee, which according to the shop’s Instagram page is a reference to Walden Pond in Henry David Thoreau’s classic novel.
