Bruster’s Real Ice Cream opens its first Las Vegas location this November | Eater Vegas

"Scheduled to open in November as the brand’s first Las Vegas location, this Pennsylvania-based ice cream parlor tapped Las Vegas resident Dave Soumas to helm the rollout of multiple planned local locations. The Lakes storefront at 2862 S. Durango Drive will offer a rotating roster of 30 flavors on site, a walk-up window, drive-thru service, and a 2,000-square-foot mini-park with a shade canopy, artificial grass, and benches. A dedicated 630-square-foot kitchen will produce in-house waffle cones, custom cakes, and ice cream pies, while the menu will feature decadent sundaes, candy-filled “blasts,” thick milkshakes, and catering via a mobile food truck and pop-up events. The family- and dog-friendly concept—grown to about 200 stores since 1989—also highlights a broad range of options (sherbet, sorbet, non-dairy, no-sugar-added/fat-free, and vegan), with dairy products delivered from its Titusville, PA headquarters." - Susan Stapleton
