"On the Strip I found an ode to all things Blue Moon that debuted at Planet Hollywood Resort, positioned right in front of the Zappos Theater. The bar's star is Blue Moon’s flagship beer, Blue Moon Belgian White, which was created in 1995 when the brewery’s brewmaster set out to make a classic Belgian wheat beer; Valencia orange peel and a touch of coriander give the beer its flavor. Fun fact I learned: Blue Moon was originally called Bellyslide, a name born from someone saying “a beer that tastes this good comes around only once in a blue moon.” The menu also highlights seasonal beer-based cocktails—Island Moon, Summer Moon, and Whiskey Moon—and the bar and lounge features video poker machines and televisions tuned to all the big games." - Susan Stapleton
