"At Vic’s in Noho, which is one of the Bowery Group’s four restaurants, staff relied on emergency propane heaters this winter but also faced enforcement trouble: the Department of Buildings issued a violation after a certified employee who was supposed to handle propane was in transit when a delivery arrived, and the restaurant experienced several FDNY warnings and violations that contributed to the group’s decision to halt propane use by late April." - Erika Adams
