Chef Brendon Edwards notified local media on Saturday that five-year-old Corktown restaurant Gold Cash Gold will serve its final meal during its well-regarded brunch service on Sunday, February 2. In statements to the Detroit Free Press and Crain’s the chef acknowledged that 2019 was a challenging year for the restaurant financially.
