Southside Pizza Will Be Serving Up Pies Next Week in the White Center | Eater Seattle

"Housed inside the spacious Beer Star beer hall in White Center, Southside Pizza is a new short-order Italian-American family eatery from the Weimann Maclise group that is slated to officially open June 26 (with test runs already underway). Chef Manny Arce, who developed his affinity for cooking and earned early kitchen stripes working in a pizza restaurant, devised a menu centered on pizza made with a Jersey-sourdough hybrid crust offered by the slice or whole; the selection runs from straight cheese and pepperoni to more ornate specialties and a build-your-own option, with complementary finger foods, salads, pasta, and cookies for dessert. The operation will have its own service window while sharing seating with a L’il Woody’s outpost, and patrons are welcome to bring their orders over to Beer Star to pair slices with a cold beer." - JP Karwacki
