"An Okinawan onigiri truck has found a permanent home in Koreatown: Supamu opened on March 28 in the former Michin Dak storefront on the corner of 6th Street and Catalina. The Okinawan style here differs from the more widely known triangular onigiri—a flat piece of seaweed wraps around rice more like a sandwich—and inside the rice you find a slice of griddled spam and a sheet of tamago; the menu builds on that classic spam-and-egg base with toppings including spicy tuna, hot chicken, and a whole fried crab. Supamu is currently open from 11 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a takeout window and a few outdoor tables to eat onsite." - Rebecca Roland
