The Ruby Slipper Opens in the French Quarter | Eater New Orleans

"A breakfast and brunch gem and mini-chain, the Ruby Slipper has opened its tenth location in the French Quarter at 204 Decatur Street in the former home of Olivier’s Creole Restaurant. Seating only 60 people, this newest outpost is cozier than some of the chain’s more recent outlets and feels more in line with the original Ruby Slipper on Cortez Street in Mid City; it will serve the same menu as the other locations. Owners Jennifer and Erich Weishaupt, who operate six other locations in New Orleans plus two in Alabama, one in Florida, and one in Baton Rouge, say they’re thrilled to be part of the French Quarter and expect the Decatur café’s charming size and proximity to Quarter activities to give it its own unique flair." - Stephanie Carter
