"I learned that Cartside, set to open this winter in Portland’s Eliot neighborhood, will house around eight carts next to an impressive two-story hub that includes a dispensary and a beer-and-wine bar; when it opens the pod will offer 25 beer taps, TVs, and heated seating areas, and in spring a second-story patio will provide views of downtown. The pod hasn't announced its cart lineup yet—marketing coordinator Nicole Mormann says the team is specifically looking for a diverse set of cuisines and business owners and wants to go beyond basic American and fast-food chains, naming Mediterranean, Mexican, and Thai as examples.
